2. Use of Third-Party Services
Moviepearl integrates several high-standard third-party services:
- TMDB API: We utilize The Movie Database (TMDB) for movie metadata, posters, and cast information. No user personal data is shared with TMDB.
- Relworx Gateway: All financial transactions are secured via Relworx. Their processing is governed by PCI-DSS safety standards.
3. Data Security & Engineering
Under the supervision of our Chief Software Developer, Talemwa Livingstone, we implement industry-standard encryption to protect your data. While no system is 100% secure, we continuously monitor for vulnerabilities to keep your Moviepearl account safe.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information as long as your account is active. If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, please check delete button on dashboard page.
5. Data Loss
we strive hard to maintain and give top security to our servers and databases to prevent user data loss, however we shall continue emphasizing that incase you delete your account , we are not liable for the data loss including but not limited to your subscriotion .
